My field books were bursting with detailed mud-maps and notations. Being constantly on the road for 10 years enabled me to gain a unique knowledge of Australia’s goldfields geology. The constant quest for nuggets and the research coupled with field experience honed my powers of observation to be able to predict where we could find gold.
