Wow, Space Rock. I think I got a Meteorite. How cool would that be.. Not sure though , I have never found one ..What does everyone else think?

It sure looks like a meteorite to me! The color and texture is about right. As Chris already said...is it slightly magnetic? If so I think you have a space rock!!!

That's definitely a meteorite, buddy. All those little spherical bumps protruding from the surface are chondrules; if you want to be 100% sure, use a file or dremel tool to polish a small spot on an inconspicuous surface and you should be able to see small, silvery white grains or flakes of nickel iron metal, especially with a 10x magnifier. Congrats on your new find - it's a decent size, too! Hunt the surrounding area where you found it, chances are there may be more...

Wing...that certainly appears to be a meteorite...it looks like a gold-basin...
If it is from a different area you may want to go back as it is clearly a fragment and there will be other pieces in the area.
If it is from an unknown fall you should record the gps co'd for it, attempt to get if classified...and keep the location to yourself unless you want a crowd...

I found a very simular one some years ago but have never had checked. This was found in Montana.

Have a look at some Australian space rocks, known as Techtites. I have found about 10 myself but these one were found by a friend. They are not magnetic and don't respond on a Metal Detector. To guage their size the nugget is 148 grams or 4.75 oz that I found this season, one inch deep.
